A cast, copper alloy, openwork hooked tag dating from c. 1500-1600. The sewing loop is trapezoidal and the body of the hook is in the form of a wheel with serrated edges, each half of the wheel having seven teeth. The centre of the body is in the form of a plain cross with three or four small, circular holes pierced in each of the angles. The point of the fastening hook has broken off and is missing. The tag has a light green patina. It is 27.2mm long, 15.9mm wide and 3.2mm thick. It weighs 1.45 gm. See Museum of London, Material Culture in London in an Age of Transition, fig. 25, No. 155.
