A copper-alloy two-part horse harness pendant. The frame of the pendant is shaped like a circular six-petalled flower with an incomplete suspension loop turned through 90 degrees at the terminal of a rectangular bar which projects from the top edge of the frame. The frame is 42mm in length and 26mm in width. The inner pendant is a circular six petalled flower, each petal fitting inside a larger petal of the frame, it is 20mm in diameter and attached to the frame by a suspension loop, again turned through 90 degrees, and a bar, which passes between both parts of the pendant. In the centre of the inner pendant there is a circular boss 8mm in diameter which contains red enamel. Traces of gilding also survive on the front face of the pendant. The back face is flat and undecorated. This pendant is likely to be medieval in date.
