Very worn/corroded cast cu-alloy Dolphin brooch dating from the early Roman period, i.e. AD43-200. Only the part of the bow, head and spring remain. Pin and brooch foot are missing. the surface of the brooch is very corroded and the foot of the brooch has corroded away leaving the remainder of the bow thin and fragile.
