Undecorated late Bronze Age socketed axehead. Quite pronounced casting seam along the bottom edge. The surface is slightly mottled dark/tan brown, and some 'brassy' colour showing through. It appears to have been treated with resin/unknown chemical. Some spots of active copper corrosion inside. It appears 'cracked', which may be a flaw in moulding, but it is difficult to ascertain if was cracked in antiquity due to the recent surface treatment.
Notes:
It is similar to an axehead from Unthank Rd Hoard, Norwich, Norwich Castle Museum.
