A cast copper alloy object of undetermined function and date, possibly Roman. The object is small and is pointed oval in plan (length 37.29mm, width 7.92mm, thickness 4.89mm). It is rectangular in section and it has a central hole (3.7mm in diameter). All four planes are decorated with a line of punched dots. Weight 5.3g. The object is very abraded and has lost much of its surface. It has a mid green patina and there is light green corrosion product where the surface has worn away.
