Flint borer, probably of Neolithic to early Bronze Age date. Secondary flake. The object is sub-triangular in shape, tapering to a rounded point at the distal end. Most edges of the object show scaled, abrupt to semi-abrupt, short retouch and the bulb has been completely removed. The left edge, when viewed from the ventral face has larger removals, with a single removal at the distal end creating a sharp edge to the pointed section. The flint is light grey in colour with lighter patches in places and a matt patina. Length: 43.09mm, Width: 21.16mm, Thickness: 3.96mm, Weight: 3.2g
