Flint scraper, probably of Neolithic to early Bronze Age date. Tertiary flake. The object is roughly semi-circular in shape. It has a finely worked dorsal face, covered with thin, parallel flaking scars. There are long, scaled, low angle to semi-abrupt removals along the left edge of the dorsal face. At the distal end a small chunk of flint it missing. To the right side of this and along the right edge are long, sub-parallel, low angle to semi-abrupt removals. The flint is grey in colour with speckled, milky, shiny patination. The butt is wide and there is a very prominent bulb on the ventral face. Length: 31.24mm, Width: 29.87mm, Thickness: 9.71mm, Weight: 10.6g
