A fragment of a late Iron Age to early Romano-British one piece brooch of uncertain type, but possibly a Nauheim derivative. Only the bow and two coils of the spring remain. The bow is curved and no catchplate remains. It measures 40.3 mm in length, 3.6 mm thick and is 5.6 mm wide at what remains of the coiled spring. It probably dates from the early to mid first century AD.
