A Roman bow brooch, a copper-alloy initial T-shaped type of mid-late first century AD. The brooch is missing the lower part of its bow and its pin, but its wings are intact. The brooch has a hinged pin mechanism set within tubular wings. The brooch bow has a high arc which rises above the head. What remains of the brooch measures 23.6 mm in length and is 29.6 mm across its wings. It is 4.7 mm thick and weighs 5.2 grams. It appears to be an undecorated example.
