A corroded and incomplete medieval cast copper-alloy single-looped buckle frame. The curved outer edge is constricted at its centre for an extant sheet roller. The thickness at the outer edge of 3.8mm tapers to 1.5mm at the attachment end. There is a moulding at the extant end of the pin bar; the other end and the bar itself have been lost. The frame is bevelled externally on the upper surface; the lower surface is flat and plain. The artefact has corroded to an orange-brown colour with patches of light/mid-green corrosion product.
