It is sub-rectangular in plan with rounded edges. In cross section it is D-shaped. The flint is mainly grey but has irregular sized patches of darker grey and white/yellow. There are three main flakes which have been taken off the upper face with a flat top and sloping sides. It is possible that there is retouch along the narrow end but it is faint. 2010-02-01 13:13:182011-02-24 13:56:364012009-11-01Certain139130014B66D36E010D310434DURFlint10837Knapped/flakedUncertainNEOLITHICNEx14337p0gjgrs3d38BRONZE AGEBAx13712p0gjgrs6qb2Metal detectorCirca28563922028215682148241430NZ4702NZ4702NZ40SE54.411289-1.277356100237171jones flint1 DUR-6D2655.jpg645804Flint flake of Neolithic- Bronze Age date5images/frances/Yorkshire and the HumberCharacter undeterminedCultivated landEuropean RegionCountyNorth YorkshireDistrictHambletonCivil Parish54.3994-1.24093Whorlton97321
