An incomplete cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of Post-Medieval date. One loop and the bar survive intact, the remainder now missing due to old breaks. The frame is rectangular in section and trapezoidal in form with expanded outer edge that has projecting lobes at top and bottom, and a projecting central triangular pin rest with incised rectangular groove. The front face of the outer edge has an incised trasnverse groove. The bar is trapezoidal in section and projects slightly to either side of the frame. Traces of an added white metal coating are visible on the exterior surfaces of the buckle. It measures 24.17mm in height, 20.93mm in width, 2.77mm in thickness, and weighs 3.73g. This buckle is of Post-Medieval date, probably c.17th century AD.
