A secondary waste flake / debitage of flint dating to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age periods (2900 - 1800 BC). The flake is subrectangular in shape. A central ridge is present on the ventral (upper) surface. A bulb of percussion and conchoidal ripples are present on the dorsal (lower) surface. The flake has less than 50% cortex (outer rind) present, which is a mid grey white colour, possibly originally from a chalk or limestone based procurement source. There are small flake facets present along the edges of the flake, most of these are uncontrolled, probably from plough roll. There is no evidence of reworking or secondary flaking present. The flake measures 59.64mm length, 33.08mm width, 9.13mm thick and weighs 21.0 grams
