A bodysherd/fragment of a wheelthrown ceramic vessel. The sherd is 4.83mm thick and weighs 1.9g. It is 20.42mm long and 16.94mm wide. The sherd consists of a bodysherd most likely from a cooking pot type vessel, in a orange oxidised fabric similar to that published as COTS (Cotswold Oolitic) in McSloy 2007 pp30. A significant proportion of the oolitic limestone inclusions have been leached out. It most likely dates from 11th to 13th centuries.
