Cast copper-alloy button of late medieval or early post-medieval date, c.1400-1600. The button is made from solid copper alloy and has a circular head, rounded on the front and with a flat reverse. The reverse has a crudely shaped loop with broad shoulders which attach it to the head. The button appears to be undecorated. The head is 11.05 mm in diameter and it measures 10.94 mm in length to the end of its loop.
