A bodysherd/fragment of a wheelthrown unglazed ceramic vessel. The sherd is 5.69mm thick and weighs 0.9g. It is 14.95mm long and 12.13mm wide. The sherd consists of a bodysherd, most likely from a cooking pot type vessel, in a orange oxidised fabric similar to that published as COTS (Cotswold Oolitic) in McSloy 2007 pp30. A significant proportion of the oolitic limestone inclusions have been leached out. It most likely dates from 11th to 13th centuries.
