Late Medieval gilded silver finger-ring, 25mm in diameter and 7mm thick with a weight of 8.18g.
The ring is iconographic in form, with a cabled and beaded hoop terminating in a double-facetted bezel, the shoulders of which are engraved with foliate motifs packed with green enamel. The two sides of the bezel are engraved with the figures of two saints, both of whom are difficult to identify. The saint on the left appears to be male (St John the Baptist?) and the saint on the right female (St Catherine?). On the inside of the hoop there is a black-letter inscription in French, which reads NUL CI BEN (meaning "none so well). The gilding survives very well on the inside and less well on the exterior.
