An incomplete cast copper alloy possible ‘T’ shaped Dolphin brooch of first to second century AD date. The remaining part of the brooch consists of the wings and part of the bow which is decorated with traces of blue/green enamel. The pin, spring mechanism and the lower bow including the catchplate are now missing. The wings are decorated with a single diagonal line extending downards from the head to the end of the wings with a D-shaped section and a slightly concave reverse which would once have housed the spring mechanism. The length is 21mm, the width is 28mm, the thickness is 8mm and the weight is 7.18g.
