Stone cannon ball from the late Medieval period- Post Medieval period, c. 1400-1700. It is a spherical stone ball with some pock marks on its surface but mainly smooth.

Notes:

Natasha Ferguson of the Battlefield Archaeology Centre, Glasgow has seen an image of this item and comments 'Dating these things closely is impossible as they occasionally used stone cannon balls during the English Civil war if supplies or iron or lead were low'
