Cast circular lead-alloy pendant dating to the Medieval period, (1000-1500). The object is flat and circular with decoration on both surfaces. On one surface the central boss is surrounded a raised circle surrounding which are five raised oval mouldings. In between each of these mouldings are five basket-work mouldings which consist of two vertical ridges in between which are three horizontal ridges. Surrounding these mouldings is another raised circle from which radiate outwards 24 raised ridges. The other surface of the pendant is decorated with a small raised circular boss. Above and to either side of this are three slightly larger bosses within raised moulded circles. In between each of these circles is a segment of basket-work which consists of a V-shaped outer moulding within which are three arched horizontal lines with a linear line dividing them centrally. At the top of the object are the broken remains of a suspension loop. The object has a mid grey patina and is slightly damaged at the outer edge. It is likely to date to the 11th century.
