A complete copper-alloy object of uncertain function or date. It is hollow, lunular in form and with a thickened outer/lower edge. The surfaces appear to be undecorated, but have suffered from post-depositional wear that has removed much of the patina and resulted in some encrustation of the surviving surfaces. Traces of a circumferential seam can be seen on both inner and outer edges. It measures 7.10mm in maximum thickness, has an external diameter of 18.39mm, and weighs 2.20g. The precise function of this object remains uncertain. A similar example tentatively dated to the Post-Medieval period is recorded from Norfolk (SF-83A341). The current example might be of similar date, although an earlier date range cannot be ruled out entirely.
