16th-18th Century. Lead alloy, cast, small/medium size, biface token. Length 17.4mm, Width 15.5mm, Thickness 2.2mm, Diameter 17.4mm, Weight 2.3g. Once circular, flat token. Obverse: Eight multi-armed spiral cross type with central pellet. Reverse: Possible initial 'N' or 'cricket stump' design. Very worn, broken/damaged with three sections missing from the edges. Grey patina with pale brown stains and surface corrosion. Ref. Tokens & Tallies Through The Ages, Edward Fletcher, Greenlight Publishing 2003, page 28-33 and Leaden Tokens and Tallies Roman to Victorian, Edward Fletcher, Greenlight Publishing 2005, page 106 No. 25.
