A slightly worn silver-plated contemporary copper-alloy copy of an early 3rd-century Roman denarius of Julia Domna, 'IVNO REGINA', 'Rome' or 'Laodicea' mint (c. 196 - c. 211 AD; Reece issue period 10; cf. R.I.C. 560/640).

This coin has suffered some circumferential losses and patches of the corroded copper core show through in places.
