A fragment of a brooch of Roman date, which has broken on the bow, therefore the head is completely missing. The fragment is topped by a pointed fan shape the neck of which narrows before widening again. From this point the bow continues down with a slight curve, terminating in a bulbous foot. The brooch is undecorated. The metal is a light brownish-green colour and is very worn. The brooch fragment is 26.7mm long, 10.1mm wide, 4.4mm thick and weighs 1.8g.
