A Modern silver dress hook. Treasure Case 2009 T560. Dr Dora Thornton, Curator of Renaissance Collections, Department of Prehistory and Europe, British Museum, provided the following report:

Silver(?) heart-shaped hook with impressed design of a flower and two holes for attachment. Design and facture indicate a modern date, probably early 20th Century.

Notes:

The find dates to later than 1709 and as such falls outside the provisions of the Treasure Act 1996.
