A cast copper-alloy foot from a later medieval to early post-medieval cooking vessel. The object is 'clawed', with ?five shallowly moulded claws, the central one being the widest, and a transverse rib above. The object is broken just above this 'ankle', revealing a leg of broadly triangular cross-section. The lower surface is flat and plain. The object has become slightly scratched and pitted post-deposition, and is dark grey in colour but covered in off-white corrosion product.
