An incomplete copper alloy rowel spur (the rowel is missing). The sides are slightly curving outwards and upwards and have a D-shaped cross section. They taper slightly towards the expanded figure of eight terminals which are joined a one of the loops and project downwards at an obtuse angle. The neck is short an has a waisted shape and circular cross-section. There is a girth groove before the aperture of the rowel box. The sides of the rowel box are D-sectioned and taper towards the expanded, rounded terminals. The terminals have a circular hole to accomodate the iron axis bar where the rowel would have been attached.
