Cast lead alloy spindle whorl, Roman to post-Medieval. Biconical with decoration of diagonal lines and pellets. The hole does not taper (internal diameter c.10.2mm). Chunk missing from the edge - probably a recent break. Grey patina. Diameter: 28.7mm, thickness: 11.0mm, diameter of hole: 11.1mm, weight: 32.42g.
