Rim sherd of samian ware. Plain. Slightly collared rim. Curves inwards towards the base. Probably a Dragendorf Type 33 bowl. Probable Central Gaulish ware, which was producd in Lezoux up to the mid-third century, but was not imported to Britain after the second century AD (ref: Lloyd Laing from Pottery in Britain 4000Bc to Ad 1900).
