A copper alloy corroded and encrusted figurine of Mars. He wears a helmet with a tall plume and the dress of a Roman soldier with a skirt has pleats.. The arms are both missing. The details are difficult to see due to nature of corrosion. On the back of the legs is a fragment of charcoal. It is possible the figure was burnt in antiquity. This may account for its condition.
