A fragment of a post medieval silver spoon now severely distorted by heat, probably in a fire. Elements of cast scrolling decoration survive on the lower side of the bowl adjacent to the distorted handle.
Damage makes this object impossible to date.
Notes:
Due to the damaged nature of the find it cannot be securely dated to pre-1709 and as such falls outside the provisions of the Treasure Act 1996.
