An early Neolithic leaf shaped arrowhead, kite shaped (after Green, Butler p123). The arrowhead is very fine and has been bifacially retouched. There is a small notch in one side which has also been retouched, suggested the damamge was caused during the production process and is not post-depositional damage. One end of the arrowhead has broken off and this is probably post-depositional damage. This arrowhead measures 23.95mm long, 13.62mm wide and is 3.48mm thick. It weighs 1.1gms.
Notes:
A diagnostic early Neolithic tool, this is one of three arrowheads from the same site.
