A worn and corroded medieval to post medieval cast copper alloy cooking vessel foot, sub-rectangular in section and with a rounded base. One face has a vertical linear ridge in the centre. The attachment end (top) of the foot has a rough and uneven break. The foot is a red-brown colour with patches of a dark green patina. Crudely made cast copper alloy vessels were widely used from c.1250-1650 for serving and cooking.
