A knapped flint flake: The flake is knapped from a mottled opaque brown coloured flint. The flake has small scars on the dorsal surface and the ventral surface has a small bulb of percussion and concentric rings. The flake weighs 2.2g and measures 27.89mm long and 17.73mm wide. The flake is prehistoric, probably dating to the Mesolithic or Neolithic periods (-8300 to -2100) when considering the size of the scars on the dorsal surface.
