A Medieval copper alloy decorative mount (14th – 15th century). The mount has been cast to depict a human head facing with head-dress; the reverse is concave. The head dress is tri-loved with each lobe having a trefoil terminal. Similar shaped mounts are illustrated in Griffiths, Philpott, & Egan (2007:119-121) and they are dated to the 14th – 15th century.
