In plan mount is a 'T' shape with a horizontal semi-circle which is fixed centrally to the lower terminal of the vertical bar. The semi-circle has a central circular hole which is counter sunk on the front face and the reverse. The horizontal bar is sub-circular in section, with the cast seam visible along its upper edge. The vertical bar is trapezoidal in section with the narrow facing at the front of the mount. The front face of this bar is also curved, thereby becoming convex. This curve continues to the upper edge of the horizontal bar. The reverse of the mount is flat. The item has a patchy dark green patina and is slightly corroded.
