A large shard from the rim of Roman coarseware jar. The shard is very rough in texture. It has a pinkish orange exterior sufaces, with a grey-brown inner core. It is tempered with large quantities of poorly sorted quartz and smaller amounts of poorly sorted limstone and iron ore fragments. Length: 64.14mm, Width: 50.88mm, Thickness: 32.70mm
