An early 4th-century copper-alloy nummus of Galerius as Caesar, 'SALVIS AVGG ET CAESS FEL KART', Carthage mint (AD 298-9, RIC VI, p. 427, no. 30b)

The coin has been identified by Southampton Musuems in the past but it has been assumed that it has not been recorded. It is an unusual site find and may have been a more recent loss. It was recorded at a Finds Event in Damerham (1st August 2009) and, as such, the record may fall below our normal standards.
