A copper alloy double looped buckle dating from the medieval or Early Post medieval periods. It is 36.08mm long, 29.6mm wide and 2.94mm thick. It weighs 8.49g. The buckle has a flat back, and rounded front. It has two oval loops. The pin and plate are missing. Similar examples can be seen on page 53 of "Buckles" by Ross Whitehead and dates from 1350 - 1650.
