A knife end stop. Of sub-rectangular section, with a rounded bifurcate top. With transverse and oblique linear moulding on each side. With the remains of an iron tang in the end, comprising a length of c.8mm. Full length 10mm. Width 17mm. Thickness 5mm. Cf. Read, 2001, fig. 56, no. 651. 16th century.
