A copper-alloy double-oval buckle of Late Medieval to early post-Medieval date. Each side of the symmetrical frame is roughly D-shaped. The upper surfaces slope downwards and outwards and the inner edges are steep. The central axis bar is of sub-triangular section and the pin is missing. The buckle is heavily corroded. It measures 22.2mm long, 18.8mm wide and 2.1mm thick. The weight is 2.69g.
