The wings are tubular, which are sub-triangular in section. On the forward looking face of the wings there is vertical ribbing as decoration. On the reverse of the wings, in the centre is a gap from which the pin is hinged. The pin is complete. Protruding from the centre of the upper edge of the wings is a sub-circular loop which has signs of wear at the upper edge of the loop. The bow is decorated with a high relief ring and dot design which is on the apex of the bow, which is towards near the wings. The bow is decorated with a column of lozenge shaped cells, bordered by triangular cells. Within the lozenge shaped cells there are traces of a blue enamel, and in the triangular cells a red enamel. The bow foot is semi-circular in section and is decorated with horizontal ribbing of varying widths. The brooch has a mid-dark green patina.
