A copper-alloy pin of middle Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) date. The head is polyhedral, with two opposing hexagonal faces, each decorated with four punched ring-and-dot marks. The two vertical side faces bear two such marks and the four angled faces bordering the plain upper face each have a single mark. A collar separates the head from the shaft, the latter element being of circular section, tapering to a damaged point. The point has been bent upwards, probably deliberately. The artefact measures 29.7mm long, 16.9mm wide and 6.3mm thick. The weight is 4g.
