Late Republican Denari an issue of the moneyer C. Clodius Vestalis 41BC. The obverse has the head of the goddess, Flora, with the legend, C CLOIVS C F. The reverse portrays the seated figure of a Vestal Virgin, Claudia, who was the daughter of Appius Claudius Pulcher, consul in 143BC; the reverse legend is VESTALIS. Reece period 1.
