The item is a moulded circular sectioned length of copper alloy. One terminal has a circular loop which is slightly off-centre. Just below the loop there appears to be a traces of gilding. The vertical shank below this loop has three horizontal ribs with a bulbous section in-between which terminates with a further three horizontal ribs. The shank is then moulded with a short 'hour-glass' shape which has three horizontal ribs below. The shank is then undecorated and appears to have a broken terminal as it is uneven. The item has a well developed dark green patina.
