Flint thumbnail scraper, created from a secondary flake, probably dating to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age. The ventral face is slightly convex in shape, becoming concave at the edge, with a diffuse bulb of percussion and wide striking platform. The dorsal face has one large flaking scar and a smaller one towards the proximal end, still covered in cortex. Short, scaled, semi-abrupt to abrupt retouch can be seen around the edge of the wide, rounded proximal end, extending along the right edge, where is becomes more invasive. The flint is grey-brown in colour with a shiny patina. Length: 33.30mm, Width: 24.79mm, Thickness: 8.99mm Weight: 7.98g
