Flint scraper, created from a secondary flake, probably dating to the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age. The ventral face is convex in shape with a prominent bulb of percussion and a fairly small striking platform. The dorsal face is also convex, with a large flaking scar on the left side and several smaller ones on the right. A small amount of cortex also remains in place around the middle of the right side. A small amount of long, scaled, semi-abrupt to abrupt retouch may be seen at the distal end of the dorsal face, extending down the right side sligtly. The flint is brownish in colour with lighter patches in places. It has a shiny patina. Length: 36.85mm, Width: 25.54mm, Thickness: 12.81mm Weight: 12.66g
