Knapped flint side-scraper with a notch. Prehistoric (Neolithic/Bronze Age, or plausibly Upper Palaeolithic). Mass: 11.0g; length: 44.0mm; width: 28.7mm; thickness: 10.3mm. Light brown flint, approximately 5% cortex (at the distal and proximal ends). Bulb of percussion and ripples of the conchoidal fracture on the ventral face, with a retouched notch on one edge towards the proximal end, and some retouch on the opposite edge. Arris and unidirectional negative flake scars on the dorsal face with extensive semi-abrupt retouch on the edge without the notch, and some retouch on the notched edge.
