1100-1160. Copper alloy, cast, Anglo-Scandanavian stirrup-strap mount, class B mount, type 2-group1. Length 38mm, Width 34.1mm, Thickness 8.6mm, Weight 18.1g. Central head design arranged in tiers and a pair of flanking, open mouthed beasts sitting on their haunches. The central aperture is divided into two by a narrow bar. This is a debased version and badly corroded with rusty deposits top and bottom from attachment rivets. Ref.
