An incomplete tinned mount, of rectangular openwork, broken across the stumps of both sides at the upper end. The body carries a knight and a lady with arms outstretched embracing, cast in relief, slightly hollow-backed, with a flange at the foot with twin rivet-holes. The lady is wearing a long gown and the knight a hooded knee-length mail hauberk. He carries a sword on his left side. The detail is worn and corroded although traces of angular features and mail survive. 16mm x >38mm. 13th century.
